Meet Erica.

Erica started where most KJG students start — uncertain, working a job that wasn't going anywhere, and looking for a way into healthcare without taking on six figures of debt. She earned her LVN through a vocational program and started clocking in on Houston hospital floors before her diploma was framed.

A decade of bedside work taught her two things: this city needs more healthcare workers, and the path in is artificially narrow. Too many qualified people get filtered out by tuition price tags, gatekept admissions, and schools that vanish the moment a student needs help.

As the spouse of a service member, she watched friends in the military community burn through MyCAA dollars on programs that didn't deliver. That's when she decided to build the school she wished had existed — veteran-owned, woman-owned, registered with the State of Texas, and run by someone who's actually been in the scrubs.

Today KJG has trained more than 1,200 students. Every credential is stackable. Every graduate gets a placement coach. And every student gets Erica's number on day one.
